Blog Post 4 Commanding Attention

For my first writing project I tried a statement and a question. I feel more conformable using a question to start my paper, as this was what my high school teachers liked the best. My hook was "Has a passage in a book ever stuck out to you?" I feel this hook will grab the attention to the reader by being relatable to the reader if they have had a passage stick out to them. The reader can now look at my passage and see how the passage I choose connects to my paper and how my thought process was picking the passage I used.
